In a well attended campaign meeting at Marthandam, in Kanyakumari constituency, Tamil Nadu Prakash Karat, General Secretary of the CPI (M), D. Raja of CPI, P. Md. Ismail of JD (S) and Shri Thalavai Sundaram of AIADMK participated. There were over 20,000 people at the meeting.
