Antony defends arms deal with Israel

Thiruvananthapuram: Defence Minister A K Antony said here today that the multi billion crore missile deal with Isreal will be probed and cancelled if anybody will give credible evidence. He was talking at a meet the press programme here. Antony claimed that there were no middlemen in the deal and the whole process was transparent. Mr. Antony refused to reply when asked why global tender was not invited and why a black listed company was given the contract. . He said that congress will not support a government other than that led by Dr. Manmohan Singh. . He claimed that Congress would emerge as the single largest party after the polls
