People will respond to the true "fashion" of Congress: Brinda Karat

Responding to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s remark, Brinda Karat, Politburo Member of the CPI (M) said that it is a fashion in the Congress party that a person can only be a Prime Minister when chosen by the Congress President. This time the people will in a truly democratic fashion decide who the Prime Minister will be, when all the non-Congress and non-BJP parties, together as part of the third alternative will decide on the basis of consensus. It is a shame that the Congress has become a junior partner in their alliance in Bengal that is out to destroy and divide Bengal in the name of fighting the CPI (M). The people of West Bengal will give a fitting reply to such divisive politics, Brinda Karat said.
