West Bengal State Committee Call

Kolkata,3rd.April-The CPI(M) ,West Bengal State Committee has given a call for further intensifying the political campaign as the elections dates are nearing. State Committee met on Friday to review the ongoing campaign.
The general report from districts showed that the Left Front campaign has been getting an enthusiastic response from the people .However, Biman Basu, state secretary cautioned, self confidence should not turn into complacency. The main thrust of the election campaign should be on intensive small meetings and door-to-door engagements. The Party is conducting meetings where the emphasis is on dialogues with the people.
Basu warned that the opposition forces in the state may take recourse to violence. Already signs are quite evident. The Party will mobilize people to counter any attempt of anarchy.
